18 May Women in Wholesale Launch ‘Take Control’ Digital Series to Inspire and Support During Lockdown
Women in Wholesale (WiW) have launched a series of Vlogs and webinars to keep members supported during lockdown.

WiW Chairperson Clare Bocking said, “Everyone is in survival mode right now. It’s important for our members to know that they are not alone. We will speak to a variety of people about how they are staying safe and sane at this challenging time.”
Kicking off the series will be a ‘Take Control of Working from Home’ panel. A ‘Resilience in Lockdown’ webinar hosted by leadership and resilience specialist Caroline Dakin will take place on July 9th,
Carol was voted one of the top speakers at the WiW Conference 2019.
WiW Founder and Head of Communications at JJ Foodservice, Elit Rowland, said, “We want to offer support, advice and familiar faces to help our members to stay connected and inspired.”

About Women in Wholesale
WiW is an educational networking event set up in 2016 to inspire, support and progress women working in wholesale on both the wholesale and FMCG side. Following a successful conference, a mid-conference event was launched to support peer networking and launch useful resources. A WiW Steering Committee was set up in 2017 to support the growth and development of the initiative. WiW delegates are 80% female and 20% male. The majority of attendees are UK grocery and foodservice wholesalers, followed by FMCG brands. WiW has launched two reports – Six Steps to Advance Talent in Wholesale and How to Market Wholesale Jobs to Women. In 2018 WiW was awarded Best Business Initiative of the Year at the Grocer Gold Awards. Elit Rowland was announced a Timewise Top 50 Power Part Timer in 2020.
