JJ Food Service launches National Chip Week campaign

National foodservice-specialist JJ Food Service will be helping customers to capitalise on National Chip Week on 16-22 February with a number of chip and potato-themed promotions.

JJ national account manager Sue Guilfoyle said: “National Chip Week is a fantastic opportunity for pubs, restaurants, chip shops and schools – anyone that sells chips – to get involved in marketing activities that can help to raise the profile of the humble potato while increasing customer engagement and generating more sales.”

Potatoes are an important part of JJ’s business, which sells everything from raw chipping spuds and jacket or roast potatoes to chips. “We will be holding potato-themed promotions, a social media competition and the chance to win a case of our gluten-free Super Crisp Chips”, said Guilfoyle.

At the end of 2014, JJ launched its new gluten-free Super Crisp Chip range to help pubs, restaurants and caterers to respond to the growing number of gluten-free diets. Just last month, the business launched a Chunky Cut variant, its biggest chip yet, developed specifically for pubs and restaurants.

Customers that would like to receive JJ’s National Chip Week deals can email info@jjfoodservice.com or follow the JJ Twitter feed and Facebook page.
