Today’s Group Directors exceeds £7K Movember target

Today’s Group directors are delighted to announce that after spending a month growing moustaches, they’ve raised an amazing £7439 against a target of £7K for prostate and testicular cancer. Including gift aid this figures rises to just under £9,000.

Managing Director Bill Laird and his fellow Director’s, John Kinney, John Baines and John Schofield all grew moustaches during the month of November to generate funds for the research and eradication of prostate and testicular cancer, the most widespread forms of cancer among men today.
Bill Laird said: “The majority of financial support for the research into these diseases comes from public donations and fundraising, so would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped us to hit our target.”

Movember is one of the few male-oriented charity efforts that specifically promotes awareness of male cancers and generates additional resources for research and medical trials.
